I putted double braces around “Carlo Luciano Bonaparte” an linked it to Charles Lucien Bonaparte.

How many was the members of the Council of the Deputies? There is a place in Rome named Piazza dei Cinquecento (“Square of the Five Hundred” in Italian). It lies right to the south-east of the ruins of Trajan’s public bath. Was it named for the short-lived Council?

- This Piazza is named for the Italian soldiers who fell at the Battle of Dogali, in Dogali (near Massawa, in present-day Eritrea), in January 1887. Italus (talk) 15:16, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
Geographic extent
Did the govt. of the Roman Republic control the whole of the Papal States or just the environs of Rome? --Jfruh 18:35, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
It controlled the whole Papal States: Lazio, Umbria, Marche, and Romagna. User: Domenico Rosa, 8 February 2006
Population
The info box indicates a population of 15,000. This cannot be correct. The city of Rome alone must have had many times that number in 1850. 66.183.217.31 17:25, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
- You are right. Rome alone had 150,000 inhabitants at that time. I guess the whole state, with Bologna and other big towns should be around 2-3 millions. --Gspinoza 21:56, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Clean-up notice
The clean-up notice was added— I suppose as a sort of joke— 10:57, 8 February 2007, by User:205.133.240.254, whose edit history is not notable for European history edits. I see no urgent reason to remove it: the better sort of Wikipedians don't often resort to tagging, I'm noticing. --Wetman (talk) 22:10, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
Page move?
Any objections to a move to Roman Republic (1849)? john k (talk) 21:49, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
- I was just going to propose that. Fully support. 75.154.72.240 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 04:04, 9 May 2010 (UTC).
