Glenn Leopold

Glenn Leopold is one of the writers who worked at Hanna-Barbera Productions. He worked as Story Editor/Writer in many of Hanna Barbera Productions. Leopold worked as a writer on shows like Scooby and Scrappy Doo (1979), The Flintstone Kids, and The Snorks [2]. Leopold was also one of Story Editors of The Smurfs, for which he wrote many of the episodes [2]. While working on The Smurfs as Story Editor/Writer, Glenn Leopold created characters like The Clockwork Smurf and Clockwork Smurfette [4]. Glenn Leopold created Clockwork Smurf in Season 1 and Clockwork Smurfette in Season 7 [4]. Glenn Leopold worked as Story Editor/Writer for other famous Hanna Barbera shows such as Pirates of Dark Water, SWAT Kats, and The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest [2]. With Producer Davis Doi, Glenn Leopold developed the Hanna Barbera show "SWAT Kats" for Television [4].

Glenn Leopold is also the member of the American band Gunhill Road, along with Steven Goldrich, and Gil Roman. The band is most famous for their hit single, "Back When My Hair Was Short." Glenn Leopold also created Jonny Quest Real Adventures Villain "Ezekiel Rage" [3].

Leopold received a 1994 Emmy nomination for The Town that Santa Forgot.[1]
