Kevin Antonio Mirallas (born 5 October 1987) is a Belgian footballer who plays for Greek Superleague club Olympiacos, having previously played for Lille and Saint-Étienne. He has been capped by Belgium at international level.

On 17 June 2010 Olympiacos Piraeus Signed the 24-year old Kevin Mirallas from AS Saint-Etienne on a one-year loan basis for €2,500,000.[1] Mirallas made his debut for Olympiacos F.C. in their 5-0 1st Leg away win over KS Besa Kavaje in the Second Qualifying Round of the UEFA Europa League Qualifiers. Mirallas scored his first ever goals for Olympiacos in a 3-1 home win over Olympiakos Volou F.C. in the 2010-11 Greek Super League as he scored 2 goals and after that game he became first-choice center-forward for his new club. Mirallas's third goal for Olympiacos came in their 2-1 away loss to their greatest rivals Panathinaikos in the Derby of the eternal enemies. After the Derby, Olympiacos Piraeus decided to extend Mirallas's contract to 4 years which will keep him at the Piraeus club until 2014. The following week Mirallas scored 2 goals in their 5-0 home win over Panionios GSS. He scored his next 2 goals in a 3-0 home win over Non Athens rivals PAOK FC. His next goal came in a 2-1 home win over Atromitos F.C. Next he scored in a 2-0 away win over Kerkyra F.C. Mirallas scored his next goal for Olympiacos again against their greatest rivals Panathinaikos in a 10-1 home win. He scored the next week in a 1-1 away draw against Panionios GSS. He then scored in a 3-0 home win over Ergotelis F.C.. His next goal came in a 6-0 home win over other Athens rivals AEK Athens. His last goal of the 2010-11 season came in a 3-1 home win over AO Kavala. Mirallas completed his first ever season at Olympiacos and in Greek Football very successfully by finishing as Olympiacos's Top Scorer with 14 goals, 2nd behind Djibril Cissé of Panathinaikos with 20 goals as the Top Scorer of the 2010-11 Super League season. All goals he scored were in the Greek Super League which helped the club win their 38th Greek Super League Championship and return to the Champions League after failing to qualify for the UEFA Europa League that season. Mirallas's first goal for Olympiacos F.C. of the 2011-12 season came in the Greek Super League in their 3-2 away win over Ergotelis F.C., next in a 1-1 away Draw against Athens rivals AEK Athens then in a 3-0 away win over Panionios GSS. He also scored the next week in a 2-2 home draw against OFI Crete. His next 2 goals came in a 6-0 home win over Doxa Drama F.C. Kevin Mirallas then scored his first ever Hat Trick for Olympiacos when he scored 3 goals in their 4-0 away win over Levadiakos F.C.. He next scored two goals in a 3-1 home win over Levadiakos F.C.. His next two goals came in a 2-0 away win over PAOK FC and the next week in a 2-0 home win over rivals AEK Athens. He next scored in a 3-0 home win against Aris FC. With this goal he reached the amount of 14 goals in the season, the same amount he had scored the last season. 2 weeks later in the match against Asteras Tripolis, Mirallas scored 4 goals, helping his team beat Asteras, by the score 7-2 at home. Olympiacos were 2-0 down before he scored his 4 goals in Olympiacos's charging come back of 7 unanswered goals. At this time he surpassed his previous season record of 14 goals a season and became the top Scorer of the League with 18 goals, surpassing, Sebastian Leto's record who was leading the top scorers table for more than two months with 15 goals. He scored the winning goal in a 1-0 away win over Panetolikos F.C.. After that Olympiacos captured their 39th Greek Super League Championship in their history. Kevin's next goal came when he scored the opener in a 4-0 away win over PAS Giannina F.C. on the 18th of April 2012. Kevin Mirallas awarded with the Top Scorer of the League award, with 20 goals. He also was the MVP of the season 2012.

Position

Mirallas has the ability to play in various attacking positions. His favorite position is striker but he can also play as a right winger, left winger and second striker.

International career

Mirallas has represented Belgium at Under-17, Under-19 levels and Under-21 levels and was one of the leading figures in guiding 2007 Belgium to the semi-finals during the UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship.

He scored twice in the 2008 Summer Olympics football tournament, once against China (2–0 victory) and once against Italy (3–2 victory).[2] Kevin Mirallas made his First Grade International Debut for Belgium in 2007. He played for Belgium in the Qualifiers for the 2008 UEFA Euro held in Austria and Switzerland where he scored his first ever first grade International goal against Serbia in Brussels. He scored his second International goal again in the Euro 2008 qualifiers against Kazakhstan in Almaty but Belgium failed to Qualify, and his next two goals for Belgium came in Frindlies against Luxembourg in Luxembourg City and against Hungary in Ghent. He played for Belgium in the 2010 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers but Belgium failed to Qualify. He also just played for Belgium in the 2012 UEFA Euro Qualifiers held in Poland and Ukraine and again Belgium failed to Qualify.
