Professor Rahula Anura Attalage is the Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Moratuwa Sri Lanka.

After completing his education at Nalanda College Colombo, he passed out with a Mechanical Engineering honors degree from University of Moratuwa.

He obtained his Masters Degree in Energy Technology from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand.

He is also a Degree holder in Engineering plus PhD in Energy Engineering holder from Ecole des Mines de Paris, France.

Professor Attalage is a winner of the University of Moratuwa's award for Outstanding Research Performances for five consecutive times.

He is also the Director of the Post Graduate Institute of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Moratuwa.
