Cut-and-paste move
Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting it into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is considered undesirable because it splits the page history which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other articles that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you.
Non-English albums
When moving non-English music articles, such as BUT/Aishō, be aware to follow the guidelines at WP:ALBUMCAPS, which in turn references http://wiki.musicbrainz.org/CapitalizationStandard . In the last reference, see Note about Japanese (among other languages). +mt 03:28, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
British nationals
Please do not go about mass-changing categories for British nationals to English and Scottish. "British" verses "English" is, as you can imagine, a controversial area, and people making lots of changes here to suit their preferred point of view, general cause disruption. We can equally get someone pushing a unionist point of view changing English ones to British. Lots of people have a view of what is correct, and their is no real answer. So it is generally best to leave the categories which ever way they are. If in an individual case you really feel the existing category is inappropriate (because, for instance, it is known that that individual generally self-identifies in a particular way) or may mislead the reader, it would be wise to discuss a proposed change on the talk page of the article concerned. Thanks.--Scott MacDonald (talk) 00:57, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
"Higher Ground"
The discussion has been resolved and consensus was reached not to merge the two articles. You're continued edits will be considered vandalism if you decide to persist. Please help reach a civil outcome here and refrain from reverting edits without discussion. NSR77 T 16:54, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
Minor edits
Hello. Looking at your contribs it seems that you mark most of your edits as minor. Keep in mind that edits should only be marked as minor if they are truly minor edits (no substantive addition or subtraction of content). Have a look at WP:MINOR for details. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 13:10, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Songs with music by Tetsuya Komuro
You merge proposal was incorrectly done. I have now inserted the correct merge and listed at CfM. Cheers. --Richhoncho (talk) 18:09, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
The article Tetsurō Oda has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. --DAJF (talk) 23:20, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
