Aidan Kearney (born 27 February 1984) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Tallow and with the Waterford senior inter-county team.
Hurling career
Club
Kearney has played with this local club, Tallow since underage and presently plays with the club in the Waterford Senior Hurling Championship and the Waterford Junior Football Championship. Kearney also played with his school, St. Colman's College, Fermoy winning the Dr. Harty Cup with them in 2002 and 2003.
Inter-county
At inter-county level, Aidan plays with Waterford. Aidan made his championship debut versus Westmeath on 18 June 2006. In his short inter county career, Aidan has won both a National Hurling League title and a Munster Championship.[1] In 2008, Kearney played in the All-Ireland Hurling Final where Waterford were resoundly beaten by a determined Kilkenny side.[2]
