Kulturhavn Kronborg

Kulturhaven Kronborg is an effort to offer a variety of culture experiences to resistance and visitors to Helsingør. Kulturhaven Kronborg is a joint initiative[1] by Kronborg Castle, Danish Maritime Museum, kulturværftet and Helsingør harbour.

Kulturhaven kronborg is the culmination of the ambits project by Helsingør to leave the industrial era behind and enter a new chapter for the town.

First with etablising the kulturværftet 2010 in the buildings from the former Helsingør Værft or Elsinore Shipyard. Next opening of the new Danish Maritime Museum, summer 2013, in the neighbouring dry dock.

The main protagonist in Kulturhaven kronborg is the Kronborg Castle, UNESCO's World Heritage Site.

The location of Kulturhaven kronborg is the extensive area from the town of Helsingør over the Harbour including the Castel Kronborg.

In the centre harbour basin the Town of Helsingør has commission a statue by the artist duo Elmgreen and Dragset with the title "han", installed 2012.

Kulturhaven Kronborg was opened May 2013.
