Ottonella Mocellin (born 1966 in Milan) is an Italian photographer and video artist. She often works with text and her work includes sound installation, performance and site specific projects . Between 1987 and 1991 she was a member of the ARC group along with Shahin Afrassiabi, Emma Holmes, Gideon London, Lennie Lee, David Miles, Nicola Pellegrini, Joao Quintino, Nicola Reece, Andrew Stockwell, Emanuelle Waeckerle. Her work is based on issues of identity and human relationships. She lives and works with Nicola Pellegrini. Since her return to Italy, she has exhibited at Malmo museum 1996 with art group FA+, the Venice Biennale in 1999, the museum of modern art in Turin 2001 the contemporary art centre in Villnius and the modern art gallery in Bologna, Michael Rein gallery in Paris in 2002, PS1 in New York in 2002 and the prestigious 2nd Tirana Biennale in 2003. She represented Italy for the PS1 International Studio Program In New York in 2001/2002.
