The Shattered Medallion is the 30th installment in the Nancy Drew point-and-click adventure game series by Her Interactive. The game is available for play on Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X platforms. It has an ESRB rating of E for moments of mild violence.[1] Players take on the first-person view of fictional amateur sleuth Nancy Drew and must solve the mystery through interrogation of suspects, solving puzzles, and discovering clues. There are two levels of gameplay, Amateur and Master sleuth modes, each offering a different difficulty level of puzzles and hints, however neither of these changes affect the actual plot of the game. The game is loosely based on a book entitled, Real Fake (2007).[citation needed]
Plot
Nancy Drew and George Fayne end up winning a spot on a survival reality show in New Zealand called Pacific Run. George is walking across one of the bridges, trying to complete a challenge, when it collapses! Nancy has to investigate and find out who cut the bridge. while George is in the hospital, Bess decides to be Nancy's partner.

- Nancy Drew - Nancy is an eighteen-year old amateur detective from the fictional town of River Heights in the United States.
- George Fayne - Nancy's athletic best friend who wins a spot on the reality show Pacific Run: New Zealand.
- Bess Marvin - Nancy's girly other best friend who covers for George after she gets hospitalized.
- Sonny Joon - The cosmologist who runs the systems of Pacific Run: New Zealand. Could he be sabotaging the show for more popularity?
- Patrick Dowsett - The former rugby star player who is in Pacific Run: New Zealand, has the athletic ability to bring his team to an easy victory, but his head just isn’t in the game. Could his simplness allow him to be tricked into injuring someone?
- Kiri Nind And aerobatic and a retired reality TV star. She seems kind, but her partner got hurt too.
- Leena Patel - A cryptographer in a relationship with Patrick Dowsett.
Fatal Errors
- Getting crushed in a landslide
- Getting crushed by the falling décor in Puzzle Palace
- Causing the mines to collapse by mining in the wrong area
- Drowning by not returning to the observatory when the sub warning signal goes off
- Crashing into the stalactites while rafting by not following Sonny's directions
- After Hearing Kiri talk while in the earthquake simulator, try it again and don't go underneath the table. It will go out of control and the lamp will hit Nancy.
- Letting Kiri win the sudden death challenge.
