KISS sources

I've listed my sources on the articles, but I've relied heavily on Dale Shermon's book Black Diamond which is a very throuogh, and non-biased evaluation of KISS's history (upto the late-90s when it was written).

I also used to have several Guitar World magazines and articles which I remember some details from, although I know that's not terribly reliable so I've looked up old details that I remember online. KISS Asylum website has gone downhill in recent years, it still is decent, but ever since the original web-administrators sold the rights to the website, I've noticed that it isn't as informative as it used to be, case and point is the KISS album Focus. That used to be posted on the website and now you apparently have to buy a copy for its information.

I've also been relying on kissfaq.com for info too. Why do you ask? Do you disagree with some of things I've written?

Black Diamond

Black diamond is a great book, and it has one of the last interview's with Eric Carr and Stan Pendrige too. Somehow the writer booked interviews with those guys while they were alive. He sites his sources very well. You should pic up a copy if/when you get the chance. Darwin's Bulldog 04:00, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

images for Sally Ann Howes

Hello! You've left a message for me regarding an image that you feel is not public domain by the British Government, even though it is from around 1948. It is also a publicity photo used by the studios and managers from that time to promote their client. Perhaps I don't have it coded properly. BTW, yes, I do delete things from my talk page if I feel the issue has been settled or if I feel the issue is beyond my control to fix. Some things I just let go. I just try to build decent biographical pages. Please advise. Thanks. Jenny Arata 14:49, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Weird, don't know why the track numbers would be shifted around by me adjusting the pic! Good eye! I totally missed that. I've also done some minor tinkering with the KISS article as well. Fixing some minor errors and correcting links. Did you still want to see if we could get it featured as a main article?

BTW, glad you liked the "Talk to Me" screenclip. Darwin's Bulldog 19:49, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again! Thanks for addressing some Wiki issues that I have but I still don't understand how I can go back and add source information, even if I change the copyright information. I can't see how to fix/add source info. Please help with this. Thanks. Jenny Arata 22:42, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your help on the source info

I will go back and properly source and license all the images I have uploaded. Jenny Arata 03:30, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Here are some tasks awaiting attention:

"Psycho Circus" single distribution

I got a lot of info down, but I don't think that all the details are correct about the single's distribution and availibility. For example, I know that it came packaged with the video for the song, but I'm not sure if the single was available by itself. Any additional info would be great if you have any. Rock and Roll Over contradiction

The RARO article has a contradiction in it, one line states that it was the first KISS record to ship Gold, and another states that it was the first to ship platinum. Which was it? Darwin's Bulldog 08:38, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User box for The Fox

Hey, I noticed that you have a user box for Ace Frehley: Template:User KISS space ace. And I've also noticed that the four originals all have user boxes. That being said, my favorite KISS member has always been Eric Carr and I'd really love to have a user box like the originals have but with his Fox make-up represented. Who can I talk to or put in a request for? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Darwin's Bulldog 23:51, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It wasn't there when I looked before, so someone must have added it fairly recently... either way, it looks awsome! Darwin's Bulldog 01:18, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nice Ace Frehley pic

Hey, just wanted to say that it was cool that you found an Epiphone advirtisement to use for a good pick of Ace on his page. Good lookin' out! Darwin's Bulldog 06:54, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thnx for adding the history, that added a lot. I think it is close to FA now. You can help make it our next collaboration here. Joe I 03:11, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
