Speedy deletion nomination of Management and Strategy Institute
Hello Huskers110110,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Management and Strategy Institute for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. LouiseS1979 (talk) 22:56, 27 December 2014 (UTC)

Virginia Tech Richmond Center
All articles should start with "title is..." followed by a concrete, non-promotional statement. In this case, I'm not exactly sure what Virginia Tech Richmond Center actually is. Is this a branch campus? Or something else? Oiyarbepsy (talk) 00:36, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Virginia Tech Roanoke Center, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Thank you for your recent contributions, such as Virginia Tech Roanoke Center. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft version first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. Thank you. Widefox; talk 01:00, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Virginia Tech Roanoke Center, you may be blocked from editing. Please explain yourself. Creating several promo articles. Stop now, and discuss. Do you have a WP:COI ? Widefox; talk 01:01, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
- No COI just a hobby.Huskers110110 (talk) 01:05, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
- OK. Why the promotional tone, and creation of several articles that fail WP:GNG? Also, see WP:PRICES. I'm not convinced, but remain open minded but you'd do well to draft first, as these all should be deleted. Best to use WP:AfC in future. Widefox; talk 01:12, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
- Your account is an WP:SPA editing / creating / promoting Virginia Tech. Several editors have queried you, but as well as contesting deletion, these are all promo and fail WP:GNG. If you want to keep them, suggest asking for them to be moved to draft space so you can get feedback. Widefox; talk 01:24, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
- Respectfully WP:SPA is not true I worked on a number of non-Virginia Tech articles in the past. Huskers110110 (talk) 01:29, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

OK, I got one Emergency Management Institute. (Template:Wake Forest University added VT). OK, technically not an SPA I take it back, excuse the questioning. But.. the issue with all these edits (and most of the articles) seems to come from over use of WP:PRIMARY sources. That's enough to come across promotional (in itself). Articles just with just primaries fail WP:GNG and may be deleted. We build articles with secondaries. They still need drafting first IMHO. Suggest you seek further opinions (now I've grilled you). Proposed deletion of Virginia Tech National Capital Region
The article Virginia Tech National Capital Region has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Advert with prices, and promo. Fails WP:GNG. WP:TNT. promo creator should draft first to risk deletion.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Widefox; talk 01:08, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

Center for Public Administration and Policy
Hi, sorry to bother you again as I thought I'd given you too much of a grilling and was willing to leave these issues to other editors... but at help you were advised to continue discussion with me so I'm back. This edit [1] removed the refimprove (from July 2007), although it add sources so technically OK, they are only primary. The article fails WP:GNG and needs basing on secondaries. I hope this is clear, and until these sourcing issues are addressed, all these articles come across as highly promotional which reflects on your account. I hope you can see how other editors will just assume you have an undisclosed COI (even though you claim you don't). Widefox; talk 09:53, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
