Hi, I don't know what the picture is about, but this is plain wrong. A match was fenced for the bronze medal, as it says both on the organiser's page and on the FIE's. Both sources mention third and fourth places, not joined third places. All zone championships are the same on this respect. Jastrow (Λέγετε) 12:13, 3 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Jastrow:, then you should find out what the picture is about, use google translator, this is not even new, in Asia they award two bronze medals, that "bronze medal match" is only valid for FIE World ranking. Mohsen1248 (talk) 12:42, 3 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It's the other way round. Maybe they give a medal to the 4th team, but there is only one third team, as proven by the ranking match. It's very misleading to mention the 3rd and 4th teams on the same footing, especially this isn't only about FIE ranking, but also Olympic qualification. Also this should be mentioned explicitly in the article as no other zone championship does this AND supported by a proper reference. Jastrow (Λέγετε) 13:06, 3 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Jastrow:, What matters is they give medal, which means those teams should be in medal table and medal summary, if you want you can write a note about that in lead section which is a good idea but those medals should be there since they awarded those medals. this is a rule in Asia for so many years (I think from 2006) and it doesn't matter if other zones do the same or not. and I can't understand what's the relation between those medals and Olympic qualification ! this is not a direct qualification tournament. and this article is about the Asian Championship and not the Olympic qualification. Mohsen1248 (talk) 13:32, 3 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I get your point about the medals. I didn't know and I apologise about attempting to "correct" these tables. My own point is that the article should explain that bronze medals are awarded to the 3rd-ranked team *and* the 4th-ranked team. As of now, it's impossible to know who is 3rd and who is 4th, which is important for FIE ranking and Olympic qualification. What I suggest is a short explanation in the intro (with a reference if it can be found) as well as top-8 rankings on the same model as 2015 European Fencing Championships#Foil team for instance. I can also add the detailed tables if I have the time. Jastrow (Λέγετε) 14:17, 3 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Writing a note is a good idea, you can write the last bronze medalist (written in bottom) originally finished 4th. having more details is even better, I won't complain if you add them. Mohsen1248 (talk) 14:23, 3 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Result articles

Hi Mohsen. I've just noticed your previous nomination at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2014 Asian Wrestling Championships – Men's freestyle 57 kg. I note that there was no discussion of the potential of merging those details elsewhere and the nomination was treated as keep/delete all. I think that's an important point that shouldn't be missing as the previous outcome appears to be setting a precedent going into Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Athletics at the 2015 Southeast Asian Games – Men's 100 metres and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pencak silat at the 2015 Southeast Asian Games – Women's 65 kg. Thanks! SFB 11:59, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, well I think for that discussion "deletion" was the best outcome. It was a third tied competition in wrestling (most countries send B teams to Asian Champs) and beside that those articles were poor since the scoring in wrestling is a little complicated and the writer didn't know that. As for the Southeast Asian Games, I am neutral here, but if I had to vote I would vote for merging as well. Mohsen1248 (talk) 16:09, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Mohammad Mousavi (volleyball)

Hi there, you stated that my edit for Mohammad Mousavi's page was the 'wrong information'. I was simply stating this source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_FIVB_Volleyball_World_League#Best_blockers

As you can see it states that Mousavi's stats were the highest for the FIVB 2015 World League. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BardiaSaeedi (talkcontribs) 16:02, 5 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

And in the same page you can read the "award section". he just led the stats which means nothing, they only give awards to players from top 4 teams. 16:49, 5 August 2015 (UTC)

I see what you mean. Thanks for explaining BardiaSaeedi (talk) 15:20, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

SaməkTalk 12:45, 15 September 2015 (UTC)Younes Sarmasti[reply]

Moving players

Hi, could you please not move players as you are doing. There is no clear Romanization of Kyrgyz. With WP:RUS being the accepted standard for cyrillic on enWIki, it is best that we align romanisation, where possible. Thanks. Fenix down (talk) 08:56, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

so what ? I can't see why WP:RUS should apply for other ex-soviet countries ? in this case in wikipedia they use what's more common in English sources. Mohsen1248 (talk) 09:08, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
So why did you move Artem Mulajanov? The letter "e" in his first name is not a recognised romanisation of Kyrgyz in any of the three romanisation styles noted here, so the "sources" are wrong. You should not move stuff around simply because one source presented Romanizes in a certain way. Additionally the "e" = "ye" is used on enWiki instead of accepted romanizations as an aid to pronunciation. Fenix down (talk) 09:28, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Can't you understand ? it's not romanization, English sources use this for him. in fact I should moved it to Muladjanov, this, this, this and they are all notable sources. Mohsen1248 (talk) 09:54, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Asian junior handball

Hey, without having a chance to look at the articles, i think it's not different than any other youth/junior handball article (Europe e.g.). You can contact an admin and ask him if he can move it to your userspace so it won't get lost. I did not see the deletion discussion or else i would have chipped in (after checking the articles of course). Seems a bit pre-mature to delete them (All that said without looking at any article) Kante4 (talk) 19:37, 21 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Kante4:, Thanks, Those articles were quite similar to this one Asian Women's Youth Handball Championship. Mohsen1248 (talk) 19:43, 21 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, looking at it, there is no way it should have been deleted. You can name me as a supporter if you want, if you start a discussion about it somewhere. Kante4 (talk) 19:44, 21 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you moved page Filipe Oliveira (born 1995) to Filipe Oliveira (footballer, born 1995) -- per WP:NCSP it appears the proper rename should be Filipe Oliveira (footballer) as there is no need to disambiguate based on the year. Tiggerjay (talk) 22:45, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think so because the only article with this name Filipe Oliveira is also a footballer. Mohsen1248 (talk) 22:47, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
A yes, you are correct. A WP:HATNOTE might be appropriate on the primary topic. Tiggerjay (talk) 22:52, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Help

Hey, do you have info/results for Water Polo at the 2016 Summer Olympics – Asian qualification? Only have a livescore link but that is delayed a day if there is any info at all. Nothing on the official asian site... This helps a bit. Kante4 (talk) 10:15, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Men's Football of 2014 Asian Games

Hello, I just seen your contribution for the page of "Men's Football of 2014 Asian Games". Thank you for your hard work, however, if only consider their points earned, it's not fair for the teams who were drawn in a three-teams' group, because they can't played one more match than the teams who were drawn in a four-teams' group. Please consider this carefully, thank you. Younis7435 (talk) 02:19, 14 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is what you think, but the official website used their own way for the ranking. Mohsen1248 (talk) 11:51, 14 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
