Hiyono Yuizaki
Appearance
Hiyono Yuizaki ("Hiyo-hiyo") is a character in the anime Spiral: Suiri no Kizuna. She is a second-year student at Tsukiyomi Highschool and is a journalist for the [[school] newspaper. She is a very chipper intellect and rarely ever seems to be troubled by anything. She has habits of thrusting a pink microphone on unsuspecting people, eavesdropping, and recording every bit of information, rumor, or gossip that comes to her ears.
Relations with other characters
- Ayumu Narumi is most likely Hiyono's best friend. She clearly has a lot of faith in him and basically follows him wherever he goes and does research for him. Ayumu's true feelings towards her are unknown, but there is lots of potential for shipping in the fan pantheon. Hiyono states once "I want to marry him", but considering this was stated as a result of Ayumu's cooking, whether or not any degree of seriousness goes along with this statement is unkown. When Hiyono says she wants to be just like Madoka, Ayumu says "Don't try to be too much like her. You're fine the way you are", possibly the closest thing he has ever made to a romantic remark.
- Madoka Narumi and Hiyono rarely ever interact. Madoka did not seem pleased when Hiyono crashed her apartment on Christmas, but she was hungover at the time. Hiyono states that she "wants to be just like her", as a successful professional woman in a "man's world".
- Kosuke Asazuki is tentatively, as a Blade Child, an enemy to the protagonists, including Hiyono. However, as a rule, Hiyono does not typically harbor any noticeable animosity towards any character in the series. Kousuke doesn't seem to think much of her, as he does not seem to think much of anybody. Most conversations between the two involve many questions, sarcasm, and possibly a death threat.
- Rio Takeuchi and Hiyono share one primary goal; they both want Ayumu to "believe in his abilities". Rio is one of the few Blade Children who Hiyono has ever truly gotten angry at, however. The two rarely interact unaccompanied by other characters; in one of these few instances, their only interaction was Rio pushing Hiyono into the wrong train.
