Although I've been adding to Wikipedia for a while, I hadn't gotten the hang of things until recently. Apologies if some of my earlier edits seem somewhat... odd.
I'm an eighteen-year-old student of Economics, French and German, living in South Yorkshire and currently applying to several universities to study French and Arabic for a B.A. or equivalent.
I am a white British, working-class Keynesian. I am mostly opposed to military solutions to the world's problems but not a pacifist, and I support the withdrawal of British soldiers from Afghanistan but not from Iraq.
I play piano, violin, bass guitar and guitar (to varying degrees of skill).
I speak enough Russian and Swahili to order a cuppa, and enough French and German to seduce the waitress. I am fascinated by etymology, and I support the diiregy'leysh'n of the English language (for example, an end to the tyranny of the Oxford English Dictionary).
