The Night of the Murdered Poets (Template:Lang-ru) refers to the night of 12 to 13 August 1952, when, on the orders of Joseph Stalin, at least thirteen (number varies from one source to another) of the most prominent Yiddish writers, poets, artists, musicians and actors of the Soviet Union were executed on the orders from Josef Stalin in the basement of Lubyanka prison, Moscow.
