Anyone see any lesbian overtones between Ryder and Weaver in this film? I'd like to see another sequal with the two of them on Earth. --DanielCD 15:02, 16 Aug 2004 (UTC)
I'd like to see 20th Century Fox let the franchise die. It's lost all hope of a dignified death though.
- I don't know why Alien fans take Alien: Resurrection so seriously... It's obviously a joke, a parody of the previous movies (come on, Weyland-Yutani - the biggest megacorp in fiction - getting bought out by Walmart? How could you fall for that? Or the very beginning, which made me cringe). Granted, Alien³ was pretty campy, but at least it seemed the real thing, and was true to the previous movies. (And IMHO, disregarding those aspects, it was actually a good movie.)
- I, for one, would like an Alien 5 dealing with Earth getting infested with xenomorphs. However, it would most likely be another attempt to cash in the series with little value to fans, like AvP was. --Nbettencourt 19:50, 3 December 2005 (UTC)
- Hmmm, maybe get Paul Veorhoven on the case! Also, one of the early trailers for Alien3 had the line "...on earth, everybody can hear you scream.". You can see a crappy quicktime of it from fileplanet, via the link here -pointlesswasteoftime.com. (fileplanet = ewwww) Tzarius 10:47, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
anyone against removing...?
this and aliens from the horror film catagory? alien and alien3 i can safely put in the horror or at least suspence catagory, but aliens and res are both action films with no real horror value, in my opinion i figured i would ask the community what they felt -manwithbrisk
Did anyone else find it strange the absolute apathy at the fact that a large section of the Earth's surface is obliterated by the ship crashing into it? Davidac18643 03:28, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
