Matthew Hansen or is an author and comic book writer/editor for Marvel/Dabel Brothers Productions. A former professional cyclist, Hansen is based out of Toronto, Canada. He began his publishing career as a cycling journalist in print for several magazines including Pedal magazine, and on the web for numerous sites including pedalmag.com and www.cyclingnews.com. Following that, Hansen worked as an editor for Dreamwave Productions, publishers of several comic titles including The Transformers, before moving onto Marvel/Dabel Brothers Productions.

Currently, Hansen is adapting R.A. Salvatore's "The Highwayman" for release through Marvel/DB Pro for 2007.
