Frenkie de Jong (born 12 May 1997) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays for Ajax .[1]
Club career
De Jong is a youth exponent from Willem II. On 10 May 2015, he made his Eredivisie debut against ADO Den Haag coming off the bench to replace Terell Ondaan in a 1–0 home win.[3]
In the summer of 2015 De Jong joined AFC Ajax.[4] He then helped take Ajax to the 2017 Europa League final.[4] De Jong's feats throughout the 2016–17 season for Jong Ajax saw him being awarded the Jupiler League's Talent of the Season award.[5]
