HELP
Look at what Toddst1 is doing ... it started when I reverter his edit on Greg page... now he is removing the date of birth on all the Wiggles !! look at my talk Page Jena (talk) 16:05, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
- Can you dig up some news sources that show their birthdates? How about their biographies? Maybe ask Figureskatingfan to help source them? I'm sure there are some newspapers that will give the "age based on date" for now. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:34, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
- Yah your right, we have to find some sources for the DOB on everything Jena (talk) 20:50, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
- Jena Fi, Figureskatingfan, Toddst1: I have posted some news article sources for their birthdays, mainly from newspaper writeups from Australian Associated Press news agencies. For Anthony, I used his official verified Twitter for his birth month and day (acceptable per WP:SELFPUB) and his birth year published by Trove for his book. [1] Birth year can also be found on other news sources and writeups. [2] [3] AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 00:13, 31 July 2018 (UTC)

NPR Newsletter No.12 30 July 2018
|
Hello AngusWOOF, thank you for your work reviewing New Pages!
- June backlog drive
Overall the June backlog drive was a success, reducing the last 3,000 or so to below 500. However, as expected, 90% of the patrolling was done by less than 10% of reviewers.
Since the drive closed, the backlog has begun to rise sharply again and is back up to nearly 1,400 already. Please help reduce this total and keep it from raising further by reviewing some articles each day.
- New technology, new rules
- New features are shortly going to be added to the Special:NewPagesFeed which include a list of drafts for review, OTRS flags for COPYVIO, and more granular filter preferences. More details can be found at this page.
- Probationary permissions: Now that PERM has been configured to allow expiry dates to all minor user rights, new NPR flag holders may sometimes be limited in the first instance to 6 months during which their work will be assessed for both quality and quantity of their reviews. This will allow admins to accord the right in borderline cases rather than make a flat out rejection.
- Current reviewers who have had the flag for longer than 6 months but have not used the permissions since they were granted will have the flag removed, but may still request to have it granted again in the future, subject to the same probationary period, if they wish to become an active reviewer.
- Editathons
- Editathons will continue through August. Please be gentle with new pages that obviously come from good faith participants, especially articles from developing economies and ones about female subjects. Consider using the 'move to draft' tool rather than bluntly tagging articles that may have potential but which cannot yet reside in mainspace.
- The Signpost
- The next issue of the monthly magazine will be out soon. The newspaper is an excellent way to stay up to date with news and new developments between our newsletters. If you have special messages to be published, or if you would like to submit an article (one about NPR perhaps?), don't hesitate to contact the editorial team here.
Go here to remove your name if you wish to opt-out of future mailings. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here) 00:00, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
Behind the Voice Actors-related
In my post on Kari Wahlgren's filmography, I had assumed that the website in question would've added her portrayal of Lady Octopus in Spider-Man by now. Hopefully, the people who work on that site will get to it at some point and you can re-add the entry. --Rtkat3 (talk) 15:02, 1 August 2018 (UTC)
- Please wait until they have the checkmark with the entry leading to screen credits. Sometimes they add entries without a checkmark, which means they are not verified. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:07, 1 August 2018 (UTC)
Ladybug OVA: Is it true, Or False?
Do you think that when you see this OVA, will it be a series, or a movie? I know that it's been confirmed, and the anime concept was a complete success, which in the year 2015, which was 3 years ago became a CGI TV series and now, became the most worldwide phenomenon, alongside Saban & Hasbro's Power Rangers which also is the secondary world wide phenomenon. My guess, it's an OVA series, based on the original Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir promotional video from 2012, and the current TV show aired in 2015 (3 years later). I'm a fan of Ladybug. And besides, in Sapotis Marinette accidentally held a A Ladybug DVD which shows a picture of anime Ladybug. And they said it might be a potential project, right? And who performed the song the promotional video for Miraculous: Tales Of Ladybug & Cat Noir? I crave knowledge, not power, and I am only after knowledge.PascalMuganyizi (talk) 14:28, 2 August 2018 (UTC)

- I don't understand what you are trying to figure out. Why would a Ladybug DVD within the cartoon have to do with an OVA? That's like saying the Ladyblog is a real website. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:28, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
- I'm not saying that the Ladyblog is real, I just found out that There's an easter egg in "Sapotis". The DVD cover that Marinette holding is a 2-D Ladybug in the episode. My guess: An OVA Series. I just found the sources online. PascalMuganyizi (talk) 20:16, 13 August 2018 (UTC)
The Irregular at Magic High School
Hello, for the translation of "Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei / 魔法科高校の劣等生", the source is several dictionaries. 11 Tom (talk) 18:18, 2 August 2018 (UTC)
- 11 Tom, the translation as originally provided vs. the translation as you have personally translated using dictionaries is close enough as to not need a second translation. It also doesn't have the "poor / bad", just "poor", and "senior high school" is just "high school". AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:56, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
Power Rangers RPM & Kamen Rider Dragon Knight
Does Power Rangers RPM look like A ABC Drama tv show, Because this has a lot of drama and a lot of NZ fights and stunts. But did it air alongside Kamen Rider Dragon Knight? Because 2009 was a Super Hero Time in America when Power Rangers & Kamen Rider came together on the USA Kamen Rider Dragon Knight: Los Angeles, California & Tokyo, Japan. Power Rangers RPM: Auckland, New Zealand & Tokyo, Japan. Was this the Super Hero Time of 2009 in America? Please tell me.PascalMuganyizi (talk) 02:19, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
- Are you asking whether Power Rangers RPM was filmed in New Zealand? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:59, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
Uh, not exactly, I'm asking about 2 Shows that are Drama themed, And is it like Super Hero Time in America of 2009? PascalMuganyizi (talk) 23:01, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- Super Hero Time was a programming block in Japan. It wasn't in the US. It had Super Sentai and Kamen Rider. Super Sentai footage was used for the Power Rangers adaptation in the US. Are you asking whether Power Rangers PRM also used Kamen Rider footage? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:26, 10 August 2018 (UTC)

Sjones23 you might want to ask WP:FILM about how they handle production and distribution companies? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:31, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
- Just so you know, I've posted a notification at WT:FILM#Anime production companies with a redirect to the WT:ANIME discussion. Hope this helps. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 17:33, 10 August 2018 (UTC)

Legends of the Hidden Temple end date
I messaged you about when in 1995 Legends of the Hidden Temple last aired and you didn’t seem to have an answer. I tried with a few other users and they didn’t have an answer either. Remember: I’m just trying to figure out when in 1995 Legends last aired. As you can see on the page, no exact end date is given.
Alec Borden (talk) 23:33, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
- I don't have anything more specific than the year:
But the show started in 1993 and ran for three seasons with 40 episodes each [6] so whether that ran all in September-December or got spread out into the next year is difficult to figure out. They may have had repeats of the show going on in 1996. Here's a video collector's website that implies it ran until 1996. [7] Nerdist says it ran until 1996 [8] I would skip all the later news articles around the film that assumed it ran from 1996 to 2004. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 00:00, 11 August 2018 (UTC)
- I'll add that they probably finished filming in 1994 as Baker moved from Florida to California then at the prompting of Fogg. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:31, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
Hello, there. I have a redrafted article with more sources, so how do I get it to you for your consideration? Thanks. BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 02:59, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
- It's still kind of incoherent. There are still a bunch of one-line statements about his stances that should be combined. Any pastor could make statements like that, and it seems like the only reason this person is notable is because he made a handful of statements about using cosmetics and spooning in public? The evolution one is not notable unless there's something historical about how he said it; many pastors believe there is no conflict between science and the Bible. I would update your edits over at Draft:Philip Cone Fletcher and then you can resubmit that when it's ready. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 13:43, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
- I'm also concerned about its WP:BARE notability. Again, what are the aspects about the person that make him Wikipedia notable? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:01, 12 August 2018 (UTC)

Regarding a recent edit:
I recently noticed that you undid my edit to Erica Mendez's page a few hours ago, citing, "she wasn't voicing films in 1994 or 1995." Though this technically was true, this was only for a dub to the two films that Viz Media recently prepared this year (most likely via Bang Zoom! Entertainment). Just wanted to bring this up to clear up any confusion. IceWalrus236 (talk) 19:15, 13 August 2018 (UTC)
- IceWalrus236, I've added the entries back with their release dates. Thanks for clearing it up. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:11, 13 August 2018 (UTC)
