Randeep Rai (born 8 June 1993)[1] is an Indian television actor known for his portrayal of Sameer Maheshwari in Sony TV's Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai.
Career
Rai started his acting career in 2014 by playing the role of Kabir Scindia in Channel V's O Gujariya: Badlein Chal Duniya. He has also acted in Diya Aur Baati Hum[2] in 2016 as Aryan Rathi. Before starting his acting career, Rai has done modeling with popular Bollywood stars like Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Disha Patani and Ranveer Singh. He has done commercial for iBall Andi Uddaan with[3] Kareena Kapoor and Reliance Digital Store[4] with Disha Patani. He has done more than 120 [5] television commercials. In 2017, he started portraying the role of Sameer Maheshwari in SET India's Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai.[6] Rai is all set to make his Bollywood debut with the film Saroj Ka Rishta directed by Abhishek Saxena, co-starring Shahid Kapoor's sister Sanah Kapoor and Gaurav Pandey.[7]

Randeep ranked 16th in Biz Asia's TV Personality List 2018.[10] In January 2019, Randeep walked the ramp to support Anu Ranjan’s NGO #BeWithBETI campaign.[11] He also ranked 10th in Most astounding TV celebrities of year 2018.[12]
