Balireddy Prudhviraj (born August 6, 1964) is a comedian in Telugu.[1][2] He was introduced by Prabhakar Reddy.[3] Later he acted in Aa Okkati Adakku. During this movie Prudhviraj spent 40 days with Rao Gopala Rao where he learned about the industry. He acted in more than 100 movies. He is noted for his role of "30 Years Industry", in Krishna Vamsi's movie, Khadgam.[4][5]

Biography

Prudhviraj (born Balireddy Prudhviraj), is a famous comedian in Telugu film industry. He was born August 6 at Tadepalligudem, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. He was introduced by famous Dr. Prabakar Reddy and E V V Satyanarayana in their first film Aa Okkati Adakku. During this film he spent forty days with Rao Gopala Rao, where he learnt about the film industry. He played many roles in about 100 films. He was well recognized for his dialogue “30 Years Industry ikkada” in Krishna Vamsi's film Khadgam and this film changed his fate.

Prudhviraj hails from a respected farmer family in Tadepalligudem. Prudhviraj completed his master's degree in Economics from Andhra University. Since childhood, he participated in many stage shows and cultural activities. From his childhood, he had a dream to work in movies. With that interest, he entered into the industry. Prudhvi Raj's mother also supported him a lot to enter into the industry. After his debut film “Aa Okkati Adakku” he left Chennai. Then Prudhviraj tried his luck in Tamil film industry but unfortunately he failed there.

Again he returned to the Telugu film industry and tested his luck. With the movie Kadgam, Prudhviraj became very popular. Before acting in Kadgam he worked in a hotel as a receptionist and also in a guest house.

Prudhviraj is mostly suitable for comedy roles. His dialogue delivery and comedy in films is very effective. He had a well-noted role in the movie Loukyam.

Prudhviraj played roles with top Tollywood actors such as Ravi Teja, Venkatesh, Ram Charan, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Rajendra Prasad's, Allu Arjun, Gopichand and Nithiin.
