Jaspal Rana (born 28 June 1976 in Uttarkashi District of Uttaranchal, India) is an Indian shooter who specializes in the 25m Centre Fire Pistol category.

Major achievements

  • Gold Medal in Hiroshima Asian Games in 1994
  • Gold medal in the Men's 25m Centre Fire Pistol (Pairs) with Samaresh Jung at the 2006 Commonwealth Games
  • Gold Medals in the 25m Standard Pistol and 25m Center Fire Pistol at the Doha Asian Games on 7-8th Dec 2006[1]
  • Rana equalled the world record while winning the 25 m Center Fire Pistol event, by aggregating 590 points. The current record was set by Yugoslavian shooter Zagreb Ech in 1989.
