Rosalind Chao
She was born in in 1957. If she played Arnold’s teacher from 1982 to 1983, then she can’t teach as a teenager. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Silly English Kniggits (talk • contribs) 22:37, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
Editing with a conflict of interest
Hello, Fongpi. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 17:59, 24 June 2020 (UTC)
Rosalind Chao again
Hi Fongpi - can you please explain your edits to Rosalind Chao? I noticed it's the only article you have ever edited - do you have a connection to the subject? I'm particularly concerned with your removal of Pomona College's mention of her having graduated in 1978 - it makes it hard to assume good faith, as it appears you're removing every fact in the article that supports a different birth year than your preferred one. I'm aware she appears to claim 1957 is the wrong year in the the OC Magazine article you cited, but frankly there is too much other evidence to believe that statement. --Fru1tbat (talk) 13:23, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
- Your most recent edit to Rosalind Chao, altering the title of a source on her graduation year contrary to the source's actual content, is disruptive. You haven't engaged here or on the article's talk page. I feel this is an issue that needs to be brought to an administrator's attention. --Fru1tbat (talk) 14:33, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
