Use in PTSD
While I have great respect for the work done by Cochrane, I have seen far too many patients improve with PTSD symptoms especially if they have co-occurring bipolar disorder. The avoidance doesn't usually improve, but the irritability, impulsivity, and anger/hyper-arousal usually improve. I'm unaware of any RCTs or much work in general done with this, but a number of colleagues have noticed the same.
