    • Kash Patel named Chief of Staff to Acting US Defense Secretary. Patel is described as "a controversial figure who previously worked under Republican Rep. Devin Nunes". One defense official reported "This is scary, it's very unsettling. These are dictator moves."[1]
    • Anthony Tata named Under Secretary of Defense for Policy
    • Ezra Cohen-Watnick promoted to Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence. Rose to prominence for is "alleged involvement in providing intelligence materials to then-House Intelligence Chairman Nunes, went on to claim that US intelligence officials improperly surveilled Trump associates. "
