Calvin J. Collier

Calvin J. Collier (born January 6, 1942) is a former chair of the Federal Trade Commission, having been appointed to that position by President Gerald Ford and served from from March 25, 1976 to April 20, 1977.[1]
Collier received a B.A. from Grinnell College,[2] and a J.D. from Duke University School of Law and was a law clerk for Judge Harold Leventhal of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. In 2006, Collier received the Miles W. Kirkpatrick Award, awarded to individuals who have made "lasting and significant contributions to the FTC".[3]
