Mohamed Charfi (11 October 1936, in Sfax – 6 June 2008) was a well-known academic and politician. He was the Minister of Education of Tunisia between 1989 and 1994. He studied at the Paris Law Faculty. He also was an active member in UGET of Tunisia.

He was married to Faouzia Charfi.[1]
