Summary of Video games WikiProject open tasks:

This page needs to be the main article on DROD with any future releases after Webfoot DROD having their own pages and linked from the original. I will use the entry for Doom as an example of how a computer game wiki should look, and try to match the patterns. You should help too! -- Maurog 07:48, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

An answer to "Which of these games are freeware and which are shareware?":
Webfoot DROD: Illegal abandonware.
Caravel DROD: Freeware.
Caravel DROD - Architect's Edition: Freeware.
Journey to Rooted Hold: Shareware version has 3 levels of the official hold.
The City Beneath: Shareware version has the first few levels of the official hold.

I am reverting the multiple redundant links to Webfoot. Wikipedia's style guidelines on linking indicates that links should only be made the first time something is mentioned in an article. --AlphaEtaPi 19:59, 6 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted the "4 turns" thing because, for now, Caravel Games recognizes the spawn turns to be 5. Hope this is OK. Source: http://forum.caravelgames.com/viewsitepage.php?id=76040 -- Gracenotes 20:36, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This should be moved to DROD, as Caravel has changed DROD into an anacronym. Coppro 03:20, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

King Dugan's Dungeon

Hi, IMHO the article needs to mention how Caravel DROD was later rereleased as King Dugan's Dungeon. I'd put it in myself, but I'm not sure about the details. Could someone put it in, please? Thanks. :) --Kjoonlee 20:04, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hunt the Wumpus?

Why is Hunt the Wumpus listed under the See also section? It hardly seems relevant to the game at all. 163.41.91.42 (talk) 20:30, 12 December 2019 (UTC) I changed this to a link to the HyperRogue page instead, since that page says that DROD is the inspiration for it. 199.193.237.16 (talk) 08:49, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
