Institute of Engineering & Technology, Ayodhya (IET Ayodhya or IET Faizabad) is an engineering college based in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University. It was approved by the All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) (Institute ID 1-35241531) [1]

About

Established in 2000 as a self financing course at Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University campus with two branches Information Technology and Computer Science and Master of Computer Application (MCA).[2] Later, AICTE Team allowed opening Mechanical Engineering branch. In 2018, Master of Technology Courses was introduced in Civil, Mechanical and Electronics Engineering by the Institute after AICTE approval. [3]

Location

The institute is situated at Lucknow-Gorakhpur Bypass in Faizabad (Ayodhya) in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia University campaus. It is also known as "University Engineering College" in the city.
