The Sword is a poser metal band from Austin, Texas.
Biography
The Sword were founded in 2003 by J.D.Cronise. Their debut album, Age of Winters, was released in 2006 on Kemado Records. They also contributed the song "Under the Boughs" to the Invaders compilation, also on Kemado Records. Their lyrics deal with Norse mythology, a common heavy metal theme. They appeal to young , trendy hipsters that are unaware of what real heavy music is.
