" Tornado of Souls " is the 7th track of heavy metal band Megadeth's 1990 album Rust in Peace. Musically, it is a fast thrash metal song. It has one of the best and most complex guitar solos in thrash metal, performed by Marty Friedman. Lyrically, it is about a man dealing with a bitter breakup with his girlfriend, and how they grow to hate each other, and eventually, the man wants to kill her partner.
