Death

I believe the subject of this article may be deceased, however this article needs more help than a simple tense change. Dense, jargon-filled language, the content is more about the concepts he studied/promoted than the subject himself. But it hurts my brain to look at this article for too long, so hopefully some soul with more fortitude than my own can address these issues. Ditch 16:26, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also, this Roger Kaufman is not to be confused with the other academic of the same name who wrote this book: Kaufman, Emanuel (1978). A Fortran Coloring Book. MIT Press (listed in Wikipedia:WikiProject Computing/List of books on the history of computing 2). The MIT Roger may or may not be wiki-notable, but I think his book is.
