Raoul Bhatt (born 15 Jan 1980) is a Canadian producer, director, writer, cinematographer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist,[1] best known for 46th Annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards (2019) and Pipe Nation (2021).

Early life

Raoul Bhatt was born on January 24, 1980, in Edmonton, Alberta. He began his career as a graphic artist while in high school.

Career

TV and Film

Bhatt has been passionate about film-making and cinematography all his life. He has also worked behind the scenes in the film and television industry. He has directed TV series Pipe Nation,[2][3]based on the trials and tribulations of the Albertan oil and gas industry. He served as a cinematographer for Daytime Emmys, Universal Studios' Jurassic World, The Guru (2019) as well as a multitude of short films and music videos[4] for artists like Fall Out Boy, Marc Anthony, 50 Cent, and Foo Fighters. He has also produced shows like World cup Soccer, Super Bowl, WWE WrestleMania, UFC, and matches for NHL Hockey, NFL, and CFL.

Software and Technology Development

Raoul Bhatt is CEO of an Edmonton-based software company,[5], with clients from Sports[6][7] industry, car dealerships[8], healthcare[9], academia, defense, and law enforcement.[10][11]

Achievements and fame

Many reputable newspapers and magazines have featured him in their articles including the Wall Street Journal, Toronto Star, Edmonton Journal, Todayville[12], Venture, Nightclub and Bar, and Avenue Magazine. In 2016 he was featured in Avenue Edmonton magazine’s Top 40 under 40[13].

He has frequently engaged in philanthropic activities, notably fundraising for underprivileged school students.[14]

Personal life

Bhatt is married and has two children. He currently resides in Alberta, Canada.
