- Comment: I accept. It's a technical move (redirect with 2 revisions exists at the target page), so we'll have to wait for the CSD. I do recommend expanding this another couple of paragraphs, so that it is bigger than the two sentences in Lateral computing#Soft computing. That would shut down anybody tempted to redirect the article. –Novem Linguae (talk) 03:19, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
- Comment: You're the reviewer. Take the call. You've my complete support. (As a creator of this article I cannot/should not influence your decision). - Hatchens (talk) 02:46, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
- Comment: Well, this passes GNG, so completely up to you if you want this moved into mainspace as a stub, or if you want to just copy paste this over to Lateral computing#Soft computing. Or it sounds like you're also considering a 3rd option of letting this incubate in draftspace for a bit? Anyway, I'm comfortable with any of the three, just let me know what you decide. (If you incubate, might want to unsubmit, to take this out of the queue.) –Novem Linguae (talk) 02:40, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
- Comment: Novem Linguae, thank you for being supportive. As a creator of this article, I would definitely like it to be approved under a "stub" category. But as a reviewer, I would genuinely prefer this article to evolve a bit more at this draft stage, and then it should get included. WP:REFUND could be an option but I would not like to opt for it because if it had been good enough then it would have been an article by now. - Hatchens (talk) 02:23, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
- Comment: I also see that there was an AFD on this in Jan 2020 Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Soft computing, and it got draftified, and then the draft expired in Jan 2021. You may want to look into WP:REFUNDing that draft and seeing if that content is good. –Novem Linguae (talk) 17:48, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
- Comment: This clearly passes WP:GNG, so that's awesome. My only concern is that this already has a small, two sentence section in the article Lateral computing#Soft computing. I'll accept this AFC if you want. Or you can just move your efforts to Lateral computing#Soft computing. Up to you. Thoughts? –Novem Linguae (talk) 17:45, 24 February 2021 (UTC)

Soft computing is a collection of artificial intelligence-based computational techniques.[1]
History
The theory and techniques related to soft computing were first introduced in 1980s.[2] The term "soft computing" was coined by Lotfi A. Zadeh.[3][1] It combines the fundamentals of neural network, fuzzy logic, and genetic algorithm which, in turn, offers the superiority of humanlike problem solving capabilities.[4]
