Peter Kurth

  • ... that German actor Peter Kurth gained 35 pounds for his role in the 2015 film A Heavy Heart, and then purposely lost all of his newly-gained weight during the 35-day shoot? Source: "Months before shooting, Kurth bulked up, adding 35 lbs of muscle to resemble a former fighter. During the 35-day shoot, which was shot entirely in chronological order, he slowly lost it all, starving himself to mirror Herbert's decline." (and TIFF: 'A Heavy Heart' Marks Impressive Debut from New German Talent, The Hollywood Reporter.

Interesting life and work, on fine sources, and I can read the German. No copyvio obvious. The hook is acceptable, but think could be better. If we say "actor" we can drop "for his role", or the other way. I think mentioning "cancer" and/or "physical decline" would add much to being interesting, more than the duration of the shooting. Want to try? - Nice to meet you, Dan! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:21, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
One more: I don't think we need - in the first table - "ref(s)" if always only one, nor a column for notes if there are no notes. Also: I gave you an interlanguage link {{ill}} for a theater. Please check if there are other things with an article in German but not in English, and treat them the same. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:28, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
Gerda Arendt, nice to meet you and thanks for the review. I discovered this article by chance and can't read German, so your insight is much appreciated! Also, I had no idea {{ill}} existed — I've added more ILLs and removed the "Notes" column and plural "ref(s)" per your suggestions. What do you think of this hook:

thank you, great! That way, some of the clicks will go to the film, but I guess you don't mind. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:01, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
