Ronald Magada famously known as Maro[1][2], is a Ugandan musician, songwriter, music producer, and a member of Vocal Police Entertainment music label[3]. Known for his songs Sulabulungi, Biweewo, Musaayi, Kyokoba, Genda Ewammwe among others.[4],[5][6]

Music career

In 2007, Maro launched his solo musical career coming up with his first song Toneeraga[7][8]. His first collaboration song was with Blu3s in 2011[9].Genda Ewaamwe was Maro`s breakthrough song in 2013[10]. Maro had his first concert at Freedom City in August 2013.[11][12]

Early Life & Education Background

Maro was born in Jinja to Mr. James Magada and Jane Babuleka (deceased)[15][16]. His father serves in the Uganda Police Force. His the second born in a family of 11 children. Maro is in a relationship with Iris Dill.[17] Maro attended to Nsambya Barracks School, St. Peter Nsambya, Bupadengo Primary School in Kamuli District, Light College Mukono[18], Buloba High School where he sat for his UACE[19], In 2015 Maro graduated from Makerere University with a Bachelor`s Degree in Development Studies[20].
