Abdulkadir Inan (Template:Lang-ru; Template:Lang-ba, translit. Äbdelqadir İnan; 1889 – 1 October 1976, Istanbul) was a Bashkir historian and folklorist. He was the author of over 350 scientific articles. He served in the Russian Empire army during World War I and was involved in the early Soviet government of the Bashkir areas. He then in 1923 left the Soviet Union traveling to India and surrounding countries and then settling in Turkey.
Early life
Born Fathelkadir Mustafievich Suleymanov (Template:Lang-ru; Template:Lang-ba, translit. Fätqelqadir Mostafa ulı Söläymänov), his father Mustafa taught in Madrassas. He was a descendant of the Bashkiri national hero Salawat Yulayev.
