Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Tourism in Indonesia into Jakarta. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from page name; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted copied template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 23:54, 3 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, M R Karim Reza. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, District 8 Jakarta, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

 1. edit the page
 2. remove the text that looks like this:
 3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Deletion discussion about District 8 Jakarta

Hello, M R Karim Reza,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether District 8 Jakarta should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/District 8 Jakarta .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

A tag has been placed on Peruri 88, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Dhaka, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Capital City (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Jakarta

As an article is already too big - please consider creating material in separate articles - rather than adding to the article - thank you for considering this request JarrahTree 16:01, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

 • JarrahTree, I will be happy if you mind your own business, rather than wasting your valuable time in delivering advise to others Reza!
three things - your cave article doesnt make sense. Secondly you should learn to sign ~~~~, and your english at times is perplexing - the best is to actually try WP:AGF - and understand that many of your edits require a lot of people of lot of time trying to understand what you are doing.

Your valuable contributions can be improved if you were less bad faith about things, and understand that english wikipedia is about a collaborative community - and that when an article doesnt make sense, an enthusiasm to actually learn why others query some of your contributions - is to actually help you to improve the standards.

own business doesnt exist on wikipedia - it is a collaborative community, I see no problem about offering some ideas in good faith.
advise is actually advice in that context.

To go to the major problem of Jakarta - the article is far too big - and when I said that in May - I still believe that.

It would be really good if you can understand that articles do not 'stand alone' and be seen as any one editors work - that is WP:OWN

You claim to be a trained doctor - bedside manner of telling people to get lost when they are querying something is possibly a problem. JarrahTree 08:52, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I dont know if you realise that you are one of the main contributors to material about things about Jakarta - that is really valuable, as the project - the Indonesian project has fewer contributors, so each persons contributions is really valuable. The Indonesian project simply does not have the critical weight any more of contributors to fix up half the problems of the project. The sooner you drop your negative attitude towards editors like me who are not on site who come in and play with talk pages and categories - the better for all of us - to making a better project JarrahTree 09:02, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Glodok. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! Ways to improve Ubud Writers and Readers Festival

Hello, M R Karim Reza,

Welcome to Wikipedia and thanks for creating Ubud Writers and Readers Festival! I edit here too, under the username Citrivescence and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:-

Thank you for your contribution. The page could benefit from more content and has been tagged as such.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with Citrivescence. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

MfD nomination of Portal:Jakarta

Portal:Jakarta, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Portal:Jakarta and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Portal:Jakarta during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 15:48, 1 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Additions to Smaller Cities

When you added the three cities to the bundle of smaller city portal nominations, you tagged the portals twice, once with a tag for the singular MFD for the portal, and once with a tag pointing back to the bundle. Please avoid doing this in the future. I know it is tedious to nominate bundles, but it is also tedious to clean up bundles. I am not sure that you should have added those portals to a bundle that had already been under discussion for a week, but I will leave that up to administrators. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Semarang, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Solo (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 20:32, 9 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Rajshahi railway station moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Rajshahi railway station, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Iswardi railway station into Draft:Rajshahi railway station. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 12:59, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on CitraLand Cibubur, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Prime Plaza Hotels and Resorts requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Control copyright icon Hello M R Karim Reza, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your additions to Art Jakarta have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

 • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
 • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
 • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
 • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
 • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
 • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 21:50, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

SSMC

Hello sir, The wiki page of SSMC wasn't very informative, so as a student of the medical college, I tried my best to enrich the page. But unfortunately, I faced some problems. A wiki contributor named 'Gwennie-nyan' or whatever, totally vandalised the page, removed almost everything I contributed. Even I gave citations where it was needed, but she even removed that too! It's very depressing to see that. I see that you're an experienced Wikipedian. I hope you can help me in this manner. So that I can again improve the page of our respected medical college. And how can I prevent vandalism of that specific Wikipedian. Or somehow report Wikipedia about it. Priyopriyonto (talk) 13:45, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
