Lost Angels is a movie starring Beastie Boys' Adam Horovitz. It was released in 1989 and is an independent film. The movie was directed by Hugh Hudson and written by Michael Weller. Filmed in San Antonio, Texas and environs, where that city was meant to "stand in" for Los Angeles.

Premise

A troubled youth Tim Doolan from a broken home in Los Angeles is sent to a private psychiatric hospital after an altercation with the police turns violent. In the hospital, he makes a connection with Dr. Charles Loftis, a man with issues of his own.
