Pt. Rajan and Sajan Mishra (Hindi: पंडित राजन-साजन मिश्र) were brothers and vocalists in the khyal style of Indian classical music.

Early life

Rajan (1951 - 2021) [1] and Sajan (1956 - Present) Mishra were born and brought up in Varanasi. They received their initial musical training from their grandfather's brother, Bade Ram Das Ji Mishra, and also their father, Hanuman Prasad Mishra, and from their uncle, sarangi virtuoso, Gopal Prasad Mishra, and started performing while they were still in their teens.[2] They moved to Ramesh Nagar in Delhi, in 1977, where they continue to live.[3] Rajan mishra expired due to covid on 25th April 2021.Cite error: A <ref> tag is missing the closing </ref> (see the help page).[4]
