Early life

Mario Saeed was born on September 1, 1990, in Sulaimaniyah Kurdistan Iraq. Mario comes from a political Kurdish family that lived until the end of the 90s in Kurdistan region. In his early age his family had to move to the United kingdom, Bristol because of his father's political views. [1]. they started a new life in the United Kingdom and settled there till today. [2]

Early Career

Mario's sport life started from age 8. He did Muay Thai kickboxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. With the support of his father he managed to continue his sports and make a career out of it and since his early days he was seen as a bright athletic which made him have more passion for sports, kept doing it and improving himself as an Amateur till 2011. [3]

Professional Career

On October 15, 2011 Mario did his first wrestling match as a professional wrestler,  which was an Ultimate Impact Cagefighting, and he managed to score a win in under 1 Minute against a professional wrestler "Mark Baxter" [4], via submission. At the start of his career, he was nicknamed “The Arm Collector” after using the Armbar technique on multiple occasions to great effect.

His next fight was against Paul Temple(1-0-0) for the Ultimate Impact Cage Fighting promotion in 2011.

The following year, Mario fought and won against Sean May (2-1-0) for the Ultimate Impact Cage Fighting promotion in 2012

The same year, Mario’s next fight was against Shane Riley (3-1-0) for Pain Pit Fight Night 5 event in 2012

In 2013 Mario fought and won against Leon Rosser (4-1-0) for Ultimate Impact Cage Fighting

Also in 2013, Mario fought against Wayne Drake (5-1-0) for Ultimate Impact Cage Fighting

The following year in 2014, Mario was against Sean Carter for Cage Warrior 67, and lost due split.

also in 2014, Mario was up against Azi Thomas (6-2-0) for Cage Warriors 72

In 2015 Mario fought against Tomaz Kozminski (7-2-0) for Fight UK 12.

In 2018 Mario fought and won against Aron Jahnsen (8-3-0) for Golden Ticket Fight Promotions

That same year in 2018, Mario fought against Kes Mamba (9-4-0) for Raged UK. In 2019 Chay Ingram (10-4-0) was Mario’s opponent for Meltdown Fighting Championships 2

That same year, Mario went against Patrick Blight (11-4-0) for Caged Stand and Strike 5 in 2019

also in 2018, Mario went against Chris Bungard for Bellator Championship His third fight of 2019 was against Jake Blyth (12-4-0) for Raged UK 11. His most recent fight was at BRAVE Combat Federation where he fought against Benoit Saint-Denis (5-0-0) at BRAVE CF 38. [5]


personal life

Mario lives in Bristol, United kingdom with his wife and two daughters named Nyla Saeed and Aviana Saeed.

Mario also owns and runs a fighting club there in Bristol, where they teach different Martial Arts and specializing in Brazilian Ju-jitsu classes for beginners and advanced students and also offering boxing and pad work for all levels. [6] as well as fighting out of Phuket TOP team Thailand.
