Brazil satellite launch

Brazil has successfully launched a satellite earlier this year. Should it be added to the launch-capable countries? [1] [2]

Arab sat question, and citations for dates

What is the proper country attribution for the Arab Sat satellites? I'm referring to this string of edits, all of which are in good faith (there was a typo earlier that's been corrected), but I'm not sure if the 1985 launch, or the 2000 launch should be listed.

In a related note, there needs to be a lot better attribution with cites for all of these dates. Dates like this are often targets of vandals making subtle changes, and adding in citations is the best way to combat that. Obviously people adding in specific dates have some source they're reading from. Shadowjams (talk) 22:22, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Arabsat is a Saudi Arabian company; it does have a multinational element (as do several other similar companies), however it is primarily Saudi Arabian, and its satellites are considered Saudi Arabian. --W. D. Graham 11:27, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Radio waves used

Operational Satellites

A credible web site says there are about 2,666 operational satellites orbiting Earth. This article says 1,900. Who's right? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.163.124.210 (talk) 19:07, 31 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
