User:SQL Fair enough, but still waiting for the other request to be treated, this things seem to take time for a reason I can't fathomLeftowiki (talk) 16:59, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

To be frank, it probably has to do with the level of verbosity of your request. It might not be a bad idea to keep your request simple, and short - as well as to review Wikipedia:Guide to appealing blocks. Remember that we're all volunteers here. SQLQuery me! 04:09, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hi Sir

I don't understand how you blocked me without appeal (which meant i couldnt even talk to you with my original account hence this one)

on a grave and unacceptable charge that I did take money from these people

the two wikipedia pages which i created are both ligitimate, the first one i created had to do with a tv channel in my country which i realised had no wiki page and thought of it as a good exercise to start directly

the second is a youtube personality, which i found bizarre that she had no wiki page (although legitimate in every sense of the term)

now I ressourced by her fashion page because even if it's self sourcing it had to do with her being a fashion designer, as for the instagram and youtube links in the bottom, although I know it's frowned upon, I did see other pages which did the same so I assumed (visibly wrongly) that it was permitted

but that's a thing, deleting a page is a thing, but accusing me of taking money where I never met these persons nor know them is totally unacceptable

we are civil, you could have sent me a message first, this way was honestly brutal

my answers to the questions of MER-C below: well my connection with him is that I used an image he uploaded on flickr (since my understanding of the rules was that I shouldnt upload an image myself unless I took it myself)

to prove it you may check the history of my article, I kept it without an image for days until I came across that image (which seems to have gotten ME into trouble not the guy who did the bogus whatever copyright, which again am not responsible of, but either way in the current context you coulda asked me to remove it if it was bogus

and btw, the reason i put it is there is a video on the VERIFIED page of the subject of my page, which looks very similar so its bogus status was not that obvious to me

you can check it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aN9Lcx5zHEk

as for "User attempted to evade the block as LeftowikiTemp." it mayb technically be "User attempted to evade the block as LeftowikiTemp." it was an account i created on the spot to be able to communicate with you sir (which didn't work out obviously, since I didn't know of the protocol of appealing blocks when i created it) Leftowiki (talk) 19:46, 15 November 2020 (UTC)

File:Amira Riaa in 2020.jpg I didn't use on this article at all, it was obvious it was trouble Leftowiki (talk) 19:42, 15 November 2020 (UTC)

User attempted to evade the block as LeftowikiTemp. What is your connection to Nullleft, who uploaded File:Amira Riaa receiving youtube million subscribers award.jpg with bogus copyright information? See also File:Amira Riaa in 2020.jpg. MER-C 19:31, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

1- Leftowikitemp was not a block evasion, it was me trying to have an unblocked account to contact admins (at the time i was new didnt know how things worked here) 2- Nullleft is someone who uploaded an image I didn't even use it in my article, and he is banned now 3- the idea i got money for this article is frankly rediculous (and unproven), it's like when you are new somewhere and pick someone famous to start with 4- Leftoar is an account with another purpouse and was not meant (and has never) edited a wikipedia other then the arabic one 4- either way an edit block of the page may have sufficed, especially since it was a first time thing

Decline reason:

This doesn't address whether these accounts were used by you or not. I don't care whether Leftoar has "another purpose". The only thing I care about is whether this account was operated by you. Please read Wikipedia:Guide to appealing blocks and follow the advice there. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 20:40, 13 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

you know, I know this won't take me far, but it was a way too draconian application of rules, I mean when you are new to wikipedia and think as a beginnger it's okay to make a page about a blogger, and that it's like having multiple emails, what you expect is a warning from the admins, not an 1984 style global ban, you can't expect someone writing his first article to figure out all the intricacies of wiki laws "operated by you", as if I was leading an op to harm wikipedia, not somebody self learning something [[User:NinjaRobotPirate|NinjaRobotPirate]

I need your help please User:SQL

nobody seems to treat my unblock request, it's sitting in blue here, the only one who bothered was you to tell me not to post twice Is there anything I can do or anybody I may contact to accelerate this process ? --Leftowiki (talk) 19:20, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

socketpuppet: honestly, beginner mistake, didn't know even what a socketpuppet was, and honestly didn't have the time to educate myself reading all the documentation proof, I created another account as soon as it was blocked to talk to admin, something I'd never do now for eg also, the other accounts were never used in any harmful or destructive way I honestly believed wikipedia worked like yahoo for eg, and you could have many accounts

amira riaa: it was my first article, I think she was on tv or something, I did the same in the french wiki, but they removed the article and protected it, something I think was the fair sentence, not a block without a limit

wikipedia is a learning curve, applying the rules by the book on very new users may lead to situations like the one here

This unblock request does not address the primary reason for the block, which was self-promotion/advertising. signed, Rosguill talk 19:46, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
