Managing a conflict of interest

Information icon Hello, Ga11ileo. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Link Mobility Group, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Hi MarioGom thanks for reaching out, I'm really looking forward to editing more wiki pages and sharing my knowledge. A bit of background on me, I've been in the CPaaS industry for a long time - I dont work for Link :) - I actually live in Australia and when I saw Soprano was sold to Link it was quite a surprise, normally companies here don't get that kind of valuation, so I went to have a look at LINK's wiki page and saw there was a relevance notice/issue and that the page was quite small. So knowing how big Link actually is I decided to make my first edit on wikipedia and expand the page. I had a quick read of notability guidelines etc and it all seemed to fit. Link has over $600m in revenue and are publicly listed so I feel that they deserve a detailed page! Please reach out if anything I've written is problematic I'd be happy to edit/remove it. In the coming weeks, when I have the time I'll make my way across the CPaaS atricles/companies on Wikipedia and see if there's anything else I can add.

Thanks, Ga11ileo Ga11ileo (talk) 23:44, 27 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
