Wallbox is a smart electric vehicle charging and energy management provider which designs, manufactures and distributes electric vehicle charging technologies.[1][2][3][4][5]

History

Wallbox was founded in 2015, Barcelona, Spain by Enric Asunción and Eduard Castañeda initially as the name Wall Box Chargers. In 2017, Wallbox came first in South Summit, a European startup competition. Wallbox then came in third place at the Startup World Cup in May 2018. In October 2019, Wallbox created Quasar, the world’s first bi-directional charger for the residential segment.[6][7][8][9][10] Quasar was named the Best of CES in January 2020.[11][12][13][14][15][16]
