Sob Rock is the upcoming eighth studio album by American singer-songwriter John Mayer, scheduled to be released on July 16, 2021[1] by Columbia Records.
History
Initially, Mayer claimed that the album was to be released in mid-April. However he later announced the delay of the record to July 16th. It was recorded between Late 2017 & Early 2021.
Clips of the opening song 'Last Train Home' were released onto Mayer's TikTok account in late March, 2021.
