Due to work on the auditorium, the guild did not perform a fall musical as tradition. The auditorium contains it's own sound system, waiting room, dressing rooms, and lighting booth along with many top-notch, up-to-date ammenities. The opening ceremony began with an opening ceremony by the Superintendant and Mr.Kroupa along with the Board Of Education welcoming the guests to the new auditorium.

Football

Bethpage has become famous among New York high school varsity football teams for being the home of an outstanding football program, having won 10 Nassau County and 5 Long Island Championships since 1984 when the playoffs expanded to four teams. The tradition of Bethpage football started in 1952 when Howard C. Vogts created the first team, and he has since become New York State’s all-time winningest high school varsity football coach. Vogts' remarkable career record stands at 342-114-10 mark in 53 seasons. One of Bethpage's most notable records was a 60-game home unbeaten streak (59-0-1) between 1989 and 2004. It ended on October 23, 2004 when the Golden Eagles lost 27-0 to the Wantagh Warriors. Since that loss, Bethpage has won 11 straight at home.

In 2006, Bethpage's football team's record was 8-2.[citation needed] The team was in the Conference III Championship. [citation needed]
