RfC: Switch to shortened footnotes

I tried to make the citations already present more consistent, but I kept the existing footnote citation style. As many details of Fleming's life are to be found (in my searching, at any rate) in his autobiography, the sections about his early life and education are becoming quite full of citations to the same work. I've been using {{r}} to cite page numbers, but it looks somewhat clunky. I propose switching to the shortened footnotes citation style, so reduce the visual clutter of all the page number citations inline. Comments? Sarcasmboy (talk) 07:42, 31 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
