Sue Paterson

Sue Paterson (1953 - 2018) was a New Zealand theatre and festival director. In 2017 she was named Senior New Zealander of the Year.[1]

Biography

Paterson was born in Wellington, New Zealand. Her father was a marine engineer from Aberdeen, Scotland, and her mother was a hotel administrator.[2]

From 1999 to 2006, Paterson was general manager of the Royal New Zealand Ballet.[3] She was also marketing director of the New Zealand Festival from 1994 to 1998.[1]
