Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese animated series based on the manga series of the same title, written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. A second season, titled Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yūkaku Hen, will premiere in October 2021[1], with the staff and cast from the first season and film returning.[2] The arc follows on from the Mugen Train animated film and is set in the Yoshiwara red-light district. It will again be directed by Haruo Sotozaki, with character designs from Akira Matsushima, and produced at Ufotable.[2][3]
